CHANGE
Use Item Number Change to easily
change, combine, and copy item
numbers while still maintaining
historical transactions.
Change
Change
item numbers and descriptions
quickly and easily. Just type
in the new item number then post.
A range of item numbers can be
changed by using the "change by example" option.
The format or structure of a single item number can be changed by selecting
the new structure code.
Once you have entered
all of your changes, you have
the option to view your changes
before proceeding to post them.
All of the records in Sage Accpac
are automatically converted and
your item history will move to
the new item number!
After your changes
have been posted, print the audit
trail for a record of the changes
made.
Combine
When entering changes on an
individual basis, you now have
the ability to item will be combined
into another existing item. The
original item number is removed
from the Sage Accpac system.
Copy
You can copy item numbers quickly.
Information such as the item
master file will be copied to
the new item. The original item
number information will remain
unchanged.
